Terms of Service

1. Definitions and Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between CLOUD FOREST INFRASTRUCTURE S.R.L. ("ROnode", "we", "our") and users of our cloud services ("Customer", "you", "your"). By accessing or using our services, you accept these terms in their entirety.
1.1 Definitions
- Services: All cloud infrastructure services provided by ROnode
- Account: Your ROnode customer account
- Data: Any information stored in our infrastructure
- SLA: The applicable Service Level Agreement
2. Services Provided
ROnode provides the following services:
- Cloud virtual servers (VPS) based on Apache CloudStack
- Additional storage and data volumes
- Virtual private networks and security groups
- Snapshots and backup services
- Load balancing and related services
Bonus Credit: Upon registration, each new customer receives a €10 credit that never expires and can be used for any service.
3. Registration and Account
3.1 Registration Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must provide complete and accurate information
- For legal entities: the representative must have legal authority
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of access credentials
- All activities conducted under your account
- Immediate notification in case of unauthorized access
4. Pricing and Payments
4.1 Pricing Model
- Pay As You Go: Hourly billing for resources used
- Fixed Packages: Advance payments for fixed periods (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually)
- All prices are expressed in EUR and do not include VAT
4.2 Billing and Payments
- Billing is done monthly for Pay As You Go services
- Payment must be made within 7 days of invoice issuance
- Late payment may result in service suspension
- No refunds are provided for unused services
5. Acceptable Use
Service usage is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Violation of this policy will result in immediate service suspension without prior notice and without refund.
6. Availability and SLA
- We guarantee 99.9% infrastructure availability
- Planned downtime for maintenance is not included in SLA calculations
- SLA credits are the sole compensation for service level breaches
- Force majeure and events beyond our control are excluded
7. Data Protection
7.1 Customer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for backing up your own data
- You must comply with GDPR and other applicable regulations
- You are responsible for application and data security
7.2 ROnode Responsibilities
- We implement physical and logical security measures
- We do not access customer data except when necessary for support
- We respect the confidentiality of customer data
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ROnode shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the last 12 months
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by Customer
- You can cancel services at any time from the control panel
- No refunds are provided for unused periods
- Data will be deleted 30 days after termination
9.2 Termination by ROnode
- We may suspend or terminate services for breach of terms
- For non-payment after warning notices
- For illegal activities - without prior notice
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms with 30 days' prior notice. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Buzău, Romania.
